I love the photo of guests checking out the wedding ring! Same-sex but still has those quirky ‘guest’ traditions. My fave pics are the long banquet tables & natural cotton balls, nothing over-the-top here ladies. Simply gorgeous. Cheers.

I agree with Kim (6/26)– a wedding is a wedding is a wedding ! Jack and Jill, Jim and John, Jane and Joan–what does it matter ? That being said, I appreciate that you embrace all types of unions. I’ve only seen this is in a few magazines out of NYC. There is probably more out there but that is the market I know. You have a nation-wide and world-wide reach so good for you !

I guess I wonder why we even need to distinguish a wedding as “same sex”. Why isn’t a wedding just a wedding, a celebration of a union of two lives. I don’t think it’s any different.

they actually made the cd decorations themselves. It’s fishing line strung up to a wooden structure on top. the key is the little center widgets they used to secure the disks. they are small foam circles they found which just happened to fit perfectly in the disks. the line is threaded through the foam disks providing just enough grip to keep it from moving around (disks are pretty light). They where up working it until around 2am the night before the weddings.

Thank you for including this wedding! I hope more “bridal” blogs and other services that we all read religiously will start being more inclusive towards gay and lesbian couples. I myself have 3 gay weddings to attend in California this summer, and as I point my gay friends to all my wedding resources, I am proud when some of them (like this one!) are becoming more inclusive. Also, this wedding is fabulous!!

I always love a well-styled wedding between two men. It’s so easy for femininity to take over wedding style, and more masculine options are almost always innovative because of this.

Plus, how precious are those cotton balls at an otherwise tailored and sleek wedding? It’s a nice unexpected element- soft, but not girly.
