Lantern were from a local decor store in South Africa I’m afraid. If you goodgle Moroccan decor there are a few online shops in the states I think.

I’m working with Moroccan style too in a penthouse in New York City with arched windows. I like how the aesthetic allows for loads of color and being able to get away with rose petals instead of costly flower arrangements. Also, we are combining Spanish, Muslim and South Asian families so hopefully Moroccan will feel welcoming/familiar to all and not just a random selected theme. I meet with my decorator next week !

Hi there,thank you so much for the wonderful comments. Well believe it or not my hair fell flat!! Just about half an hour before the wedding. It was so warm that day and myhair wasn’t coping. But we did it again and all was fine. My friend used a GHD straightening iron and curled bits of hair round it and set it in that. If you want tighter longer lasting curls, you can pin the curls in and spray them. Then let the pins out later. But I wanted it to look natural so I didn’t pin them.
