If you have been reading my blog for the last year or so, you’ll already know that I am a HUGE fan of James Abel…an absolutely delightful planner, event designer and florist based in New York. We have been friends for a couple of years now and I have to say, I am beyond impressed with James and his talent to constantly create stunning affairs that are each unique and fabulous in their own right.
This real wedding that James recently sent me is no different, from the gorgeous yellow and green color palette, to the perfect details…
How much do you LOVE, love, love this look? I have more pictures and details coming in a bit!
This wedding is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I'm in love with color palette and would {forever} be indebted to you if you could share where those awesome yellow shoes are from!
Ditto what Julie said! Need to know about those yellow shoes :)
Shoes are JCrew...

I think that is the right link!
I would love to know more about how the seating cards and holders were made! So cute.
i love the yellow!! great wedding.
Hey H...James is at an event today so I will ask him to write in about the place cards later this week. My guess is that he took clean branches of varying heights and taped/glued printed white cards with names and tables on them. Then, inserted into a box of planted grass. I'll try to get the specifics though:)
I love Style Me Pretty! Glad to see black women in Real Wedding segment. I have been reading for for over 1 year.
I love that green tulip bouquet - GORGEOUS!
I love all the yellow details. Yellow makes everything so bright and fresh! What great images!
What are those fantastic yellow flowers called?
Which flowers are you referring to? The round ones? They are called Billy Balls.
Is there a special name for the tulips that were used in the bride's bouquet? I love the classic look of tulips; that color green gives them a more modern edge.
They are green and white parrot tulips.
