This next board was designed by Yvette, a history buff, who looooves Marie Antoinette. Yvette is having her reception at The Westgate Hotel in a Versailles themed affair (they have a Versailles Ballroom for brides just like Yvette), complete with a Venetian hour, a chocolate fountain, a candy bar and plenty of champagne. Her style is Opulent Decadence…
So pretty! I would love to see how this all turns out as I too, LOVE the Marie Antoinette style…the movie itself was a designer’s dream. The colors, the textures, the complete unabashed luxury. Loved it all.

Oh my God, that is my EXACT theme, too! I'm mixing in a little old South with mine because my fiance and I were born and raised in Charleston. Thank you, Yvette! I'd love to see how it turns out. A Versailles ballroom? Sigh... :)
I used this theme for my bridal shower:) It was so much fun to go all out girly for a day.

::YAWN:: Another pink "Regal" (i.e. Princess) wedding. I'm sorry, but I don't see what is so particularly pretty, inspirational or inspiring. History element aside... it's just another pink-hued wedding.
how about the OPPOSITE of "yawn." it's BEAUTIFUL! details will be so pretty, and elegance will never go out of style.
