Wedding Invitations by Chewing the Cud
As some of you might know from previous posts, I am a huge, huge fan of Chewing the Cud, a graphic design company out in San Francisco. The designer, Viola, has an eye that translates into the most innovative and beautiful ideas, each with a quirky spirit that is easy to love.
I am absolutely thrilled to announce that Viola has been collaborating with Flybird Press on a wedding invitation line…that is launching online TODAY!
You absolutely have to check out the new Chewing the Cud Wedding site. They offer two lines to choose from, the signature collection and the bespoke collection. The signature line features 14 unique designs that you can customize to make your own, while the bespoke line allows you to start from scratch, creating a couture invitations that reflects your own vision and the unique personality of your wedding.
I know you guys are going to love this invitation line and I am certain that Viola and her beautiful work will be the next big thing!

Beautiful invitations but at $25/each a bit more than the regular bride can pay….sigh….

The invitations are very cute! I’ve been surfing the web for jewelry to wear on a wedding, and I found the most beautiful pearl necklaces and earrings at http://www.premiumpearl.com/
They have various kinds of high quality pearls from gorgeous Akoya pearls to exotic Tahitian pearls!

I am interested to hear if there is any way to use letter press while still working in a budget. For example, are there any presses out there where you can come in with your own design and not pay the design fee?

I love their stuff!! Wow, I love when wedding things are a bit more fun and less traditional. It really sets the tone before the event and gets the guests really excited to attend. I can’t wait to get more familiar with that Chewing the Cud. They might be a bit pricier then I would normally spend but they are always right for the perpetual fantasy party planning that goes on in my head while I am at work…:)
