Bridesmaids Gifts, III
This next set of bridesmaids gifts is all about the monogram. If done in a cute and fashionable way, monograms can be very chic...not to mention, a great way to personalize a gift...
Although monograms have been around for ages, there are now so many great options that are much more stylish and fresh!
1. Those insanely cute lacquer trays made by IOMOI are super cute and are great on their own, or used to hold another present. Maybe alongside a bottle of champagne and two cute champagne glasses with a note promising to visit so that you can have a celebratory drink!
2. I love this stationery set by IOMOI. The coordinating liner adds an element of style that makes them perfect for everyday use.
3. These initial necklaces, designed by Sonya Renee, are AMAZING. They are definitely on the pricier end but are honestly the most perfect gift if you only have a couple of maids. Or, as a special gift for your maid of honor. Sonya is so sweet and easy to work with, so I am sure that she can also custom design something for you, as well.
4. I am normally not a monogrammed flip-flop kind of girl, but these come in SO many colors and would just be a perfect gift for a Spring or Summer wedding. Too cute.
5. My best friend, Katie, gave us these awesome totes at her wedding. She also included a pashmina and a set of Sonya Renee earrings that we could wear at the wedding...together, it was the cutest gift and I have put every element to use time and time again.
Okay, so now that I've shared my picks...I'm dying to know what you are thinking about getting your maids? Or, what is the best gift you've received? ??

i agonized over my bridesmaids gifts for some reason, i've gotten them a monogrammed tote, a vintage locket, and one of those little personalized ceramic bowls from paloma's nest on etsy. i have to stop myself from buying more now, and this guide isn't helping!

The necklaces are way cute but they don't have to be pricey - you can actually buy those disks at Things Remembered and have them engraved - then you just need to find chains. I did this for my BF a few years ago and I think it cost me about $15.

I love the totes idea - but I opted to not go personalized, because I really wanted some fun designs in cool color combinations that really reflected my bridesmaids' individual styles (bright and colorful or monotone sophisticated, or retro kitschy, etc..)
Found these great Envirosax pouches and got some for myself first. LOVE THEM and now carry them with me everywhere shopping - groceries included. Since you're getting 5 bags and a carrying pouch for $35 delivered, you're talking $7 a bag, and that is a very affordable for brides like me who can't keep blowing the budget at every corner. Love the other ideas you have, too!
Here's a link to the bags I bought:

These monogrammed coasters from Etsy would be a perfect addition to those adorable trays!

I LOVE the idea of the tote bags. My wedding will be in my aunts backyard on the river in upstate new york. She even has a little beach area, so I think this would be a great idea. Maybe I could get some cute beach towels and sunglasses to put in them too. I could add the engraved necklaces or the journal Abby posted yesterday too to add a more personal touch. Any one have any more BM gift ideas for a beachy location?

These are GREAT ideas ! Hollingtons.com has some great Monogrammed totes also.
I had a friend who called them and they stitched custom beach towels for her destination wedding- Each of the hotel rooms had 2 Beach Towels (with the design that she had on her invitation)waiting in the room. I thought that was a great idea!
