I have a soft spot for pearls, myself and, as such, my grandmother (who passed away several years ago) left one of her beautiful long single strand pearl necklaces to me specfically to wear at my wedding. I adore them, but am still hard-pressed to find earings that match their color and style. I have been trying everything from pearl studs to drop pearl earrings, and am still looking.

My style generally, though, is contemporary with a classic feel, nothing too bold, but that makes a statement.

Accordingly, my budget at this point is focused more toward the earrings rather than a necklace or whole set, but I am willing to spend a maximum of $200–Unless I find a pair I can’t live without!

well, there isn’t a solid budget…i love pearls and want good ones, but I’m not sure that I’m willing to spend a lot on a set of jewelry that wouldn’t be everyday wear.

1. I am definitely wearing pearls for my wedding. I’d like creamy pearls, not pure white ones.

2. I am looking for beautiful, classic pearl drop earrings, a bracelet, and a ring. Diamond accents are a possibility.

3. I would be willing to spend significant money on good pearls. I wear pearls frequently, and I plan to wear these pieces well after my wedding.

1. I haven’t decided whether to wear pearls for my wedding or crystals. I may consider a mix of both.

2. I love traditional jewelry but the older I get the more I like chunky original pieces of jewlery. I would love to find pearls in a unique arrangement to wear with my ivory dress.

I think pearls would look very nice with my slinky pink wedding dress.

I think either a single strand or chunky piece would both go nicely with my dress.

My jewelry budget is basically nonexistent and I was hoping to borrow something or get a nice gift from a generous person.

Tara’s pieces are very beautiful.

3. My style is not super classic (no single strand of pearls) but not too modern either. I love your necklace with multiple strands of floating pearls and the cluster drop earrings. I would always prefer custom, but it will depend on price.

1. I have not decided 100% if I will wear pearls yet. If possible, I would like to find a long necklace that has some pearls with gold accents. My dress is an ivory silk and I am wearing gold shoes, so I think it would be a nice compliment.

3. d) A mix of classic and modern styles. I am traditional by nature, but am drawn to modern shapes and styles. So pearls incorporated with sleek, modern lines may be the perfect fit for me.

4. No more than $500 for any one piece.

1. Yes, I have an ivory dress and they just work so nicely.
2. I’m wearing a bracelet and earrings. They were custom made. Gold metal with a few ivory and pink pearls.
4. About $100 – so my jewelry has a few pearls for effect.
