Reader Inspiration Boards
Since we have been celebrating the incredible creativity and talents of our readers through Ameleah’s real wedding, I thought it was appropriate to feature some of your latest inspiration boards!
The first was designed by Hailey, who is having her wedding at the peak of Fall foliage season this September in upstate New York…

The reception will be in a large pavilion overlooking the beautiful Adirondack Mountains. I am so excited for the way my inspiration board came out…its a perfect mix of simple and elegant. I’m a Libra so I’m a romantic at heart and I want to incorporate lots of candles and lanterns to give my reception the perfect ambiance. I would like to incorporate lots of golds, caramels and mochas into the color scheme. The bridesmaids will be wearing an “iridescent almond” color dress by Ann Taylor Celebrations and I want them to carry bouquets of deep reds and grape leaves. My dress is a beautiful Romona Keveza design with a simple detail of “kiss pleats” around the top and the bottom. All of the pictures are a compilation of websites including The Knot, Brides and Martha Stewart Weddings.
I absolutley love this inspiration board. If I were having a fall wedding this is what I would want. I live in upstate NY so its important to me to incorporate those views and the spectacular scenery that NY offers. I'm just curious-- where is the pavilion where you're having the reception? Is it a part of Adirondack park?

Beautiful board! It definitely looks warm and romantic. Stunning. :)
The wedding will be held at a resort in Lake Placid that has a pavilion available for our use. It looks out onto the High Peak region and the views are just breathtaking!
There's also a lovely place to get married in upstate New York called Onteora Mountain House. You get married the beautiful mountains and valleys and then have your reception in an outdoor pavilion. I get married there this July!

Looks beautiful. When is your wedding? My bridesmaids are wearing the same dresses! In fact, one is pregnant and I am looking for more iridescent almond fabric. Any chance one of your bridesmaids would sell the dress after the wedding? Mine is October 11. Please let me know!
