A Real Wedding

You guys are in for such a treat today. I am madly in love (and although I throw that around quite often, I really do mean it) with this SMP reader’s wedding. Danielle and her husband were married on a gorgeous old farm in Georgia…

The pair were married underneath a 200 year Oak tree in front of a beautiful lake, in a stunning Rustic Chic style. Danielle was on a budget and STILL managed to pull off this lovely wedding. I have more pictures and brilliant details coming, so stay tuned!

   Danielle-
   I am planning an outdoor wedding ceremony myself this upcoming August. I bought a very full, ball gown style wedding dress (similar to yours) and until I saw your pictures I was nervous about wearing it! I was afraid it was too much for an outdoor ceremony but I loved the dress and bought it anyway. Your dress looks absolutely gorgeous in this setting against the grass and the barn. I can't wait to wear mine now!

   That is what I initially thought about my dress but I mixed a lot of fancy, formal with downhome, rustic...it worked! Thanks and enjoy wearing your princess dress!

   I was also second guessing my dress choice for my Alaska wedding this summer, but now I feel so much better about it. I seem to have a similar wedding in mind and seeing all of your hard work and the beautiful pictures makes me even more excited to get married this summer.

   I'm currently planning my wedding and live in Social Circle. I go by Fairweather Farms every day when I go to Monroe or Athens! I was wondering if you could pass on the info for a wedding there?

    Hello Danielle, love your wedding pics, I also do weddings on the side....flowers and directing along with my friend who does the catering, cakes and music. We are always looking for new venues for our brides and would love to have the info on this farm. We are located in Conyers and go all over doing weddings, we simply love it! And since this is not our main source of income we try and save the brides as much money as possible but have all the elegance of a pricey wedding. Look forward to hear from you.
