If there is one thing that designer Matthew Mead has, it’s style. He launched his new website today and I have to say, I am officially in love. The color palette that Matthew has chosen is just so beautiful…the combination of vintage ware, of antique lace and perfectly subtle hues is just lovely…
What I love about Matthew’s site is that it’s filled with lovely and doable ideas that can really be incorporated into any event, weddings included. The lace inspired crafts would add a beautiful vintage chic touch to just about any wedding…softening a modern style or adding charm to a traditional look. The lace wrapped candle is my favorite, though the coasters are pretty amazing as well.
I also love the recipes that he includes and I thought that these, in particular, would make perfect favors for a rustic, chic wedding…
Make miniatures of each, then place in a crystal clear box, tied with a gorgeous cotton ribbon…add a cup of decaf coffee or a latte and your guests will leave your wedding with the sweetest of dreams.

Yes, I know. I didn't actually mean "new website," rather an updated website. I follow his site regularly and always look forward to his new color palettes. Matthew refers to the updated look as his new site, as the content on the site is new, as are the color inspirations.

wow! i would say Matthew Mead is the new Martha Stewart! I love his use of texture, color, eveything! I was trying to figure out what he was- a stylist, photographer, or? But I gather he's more of a lifestyle editor? Either way, i love him too.
