It is my personal belief that STD’s and invitations set the tone for your wedding and give guests a mysterious idea of what to look forward to on your special day. However, it is great to expand on what you did! Since your BM dresses are already chosen you obviously are not getting rid of the dusty rose. So, I would say stick with your color palette of beige, brown, and dusty rose while adding in splashes metallic. Some already metioned champagne and gold. I personally would love to see bronze and champagne mixed in to this color scheme instead of gold. Bronze is such a rich color and paired with the champagne would be just gorgeous! Plus it’s a little more unexpected than gold! It may be a bit more difficult to find but it’s your wedding day so it’s worth it! I would use tie in small accents of bronze. Like jewelry and shoes for the BM’s…Since bronze has hues of rose it would reflect of the dresses beautifully!

If you are getting married in a church and it has stained glass, possibly draw inspiration from the color palettes in the glass or the church itself. I wouldn’t worry about the invitations matching because you are the only one who will notice that detail. Maybe consider a dusty rose, sage green, champagne, and deep purple palette.

without knowing more about the style you are envisioning or the place… I would consider:
-navy blue or a sky blue…
-sage or leaf green…
-maybe a warm gray

or as suggested- a peach and/or champagne would be lovely or simply working in multiple shades of pink- add blush and maybe even a few touches of raspberry

Don’t worry about fulfilling your perfectly coordinated ideals. It’s good to have a vision, but also to be flexible if something you like better comes along. Don’t make yourself stick with something you don’t really love.

That being said, if you’re still committed to dusty rose why not make it tone-on-tone and do ballet pink, dusty rose, and burgundany. Go to the paint store and find tones that look good together using paint chips to stay in one color family.

I second the gold/champagne suggestion. Also, a little sage or pale grass green could fit in nicely. About keeping the stationary colors in the wedding…I agree with the other comments: it’s not a big deal. That being said, I think there’s something visually pleasing about introducing the colors of the day with the STD and Invites and following through on the actual day. It gives people what to expect stylistically and can be comforting to some guests who don’t know what’s appropriate to wear(i’m speaking from my own experience on this one!)
Besides, I think a reception in dusty rose, browns, and gold (or green) would be drop dead gorgeous.
