Reader Inspiration Board
I thought that this inspiration board was so incredibly chic…
This particular reader is having a summer wedding in Los Angeles- she’s hoping for a retro-hip-clean look (a modern 1960′s mod glam).
The ceremony and reception are at the Skirball Cultural Center, which is a group of massive geometric concrete buildings within the Santa Monica mountains amongst a botanical garden. IAccording the the bride, “It’s a pretty awesome juxtasposition between contemporary urban and rustic rural.”
I love, love, love the yellow touches paired with the black, infused with prints that really bring out the modern look of this board. Great job!

I photographed a wedding this summer with a very similar theme. It was modern with the same color theme and even had the little white flower balls. I loved it! It was so fresh and different. The bright yellow accent was perfect for a summer wedding! Photos at:
