<description>Dear April, I&#039;m looking to purchase the tool that you sued on your Graphic cube Lemon Cake. I have a customer requesting us to create that cake. Do you mind telling me where I can purchase that tool.

Many thanks. Scott</description>

<description>Gosh, M, I LOVE seeing gorgeous photos from all kinds of sources, be it pricey vendors or obscure internet finds. I personally just love the eye candy! And I really think that detail by painstaking detail, the overall &#039;beauty&#039; of the day will be defined. I, too, love your site Abby!

<description>I totally understand what you are saying.

I should probably explain a little bit about this blog. First and foremost, nothing on the main page of the blog is an advertisement. Vendors that I work with often send me images that are just so beautiful, I want to share them with you guys. I completely understand that many of these images are out of many couples&#039; budget , thus they really serve more as inspiration than anything else.

For example, my best friend Katie is a HUGE fan of April Reed. But, she lives in Dallas (not NYC) and was on a tigh budget for her wedding. With that said, she was able to really articulate to her own baker the exact type of cake she wanted. Inspired by April Reed.

So, most of the images that I show you guys are really to spark a bit of your own inspiration and creativity. By seeing a wide array of photography styles, of details from real weddings, of gowns, of invitations, etc...you will be able to see and understand the styles that you are personally drawn to. With that in mind, you will be able to really clearly choose your own vendors and design your own wedding.

The other side of the coin is that as a blogger, it is difficult to please everyone. I get TONS of emails from readers who want to see more cake inspirations, or invitation designs. I also get requests for more real weddings and/or questions that people have about planning their own real wedding. I want to make sure that I am changing up the blog daily...so that everyone can really find something about the blog that they love.

At the end of the day (sorry about blabbing on and on), I want this blog to be about inspiration. I will offer as many ideas as I can to spark your creativity and inspire creative ideas, though I also want to showcase really beautiful work that is happening in the wedding industry, real weddings that are so lovley they just make you want to cry, inspiration boards that readers work so hard on. And so on.

There are so many blogs out there that just do how-to. There are others that are completely real-life ideas. There are even a couple just devoted to Inspiration Boards (hopefully, a trend that SMP started!). I want to do all of the above...all while keeping to the idea that inspiration is found in MANY different ways.

Hope that makes sense!

<description>So - In a very kind way... I love your inspiration boards, real wedding details. They are things that inspire creativity in the bride, and keep me coming back for more. But, I feel a bit like you are moving to blogs as advertisments for upscale, if very talented, Vendors. These cakes are really nice, but unlike the inspiration boards or real weddings, they don&#039;t make me think of cool new creative ideas I might use. They don&#039;t really make me focus on the personal style you can infuse into the day. When you focus on vendors, it makes me tune out a bit, because I wouldn&#039;t dream of spending that much on flowers or a cake or a wedding planner, and it does not have the same clear ring of personal creativity. Maybe interviews with vendors would be better? These people are stunningly creative, and I bet they have very interesting insights that would spark a bit of inspiration. So, generally I really enjoy your blog, but that is my totally unasked for two cents. I hope you are not offended!
