Why does no one ever treat upscale “beach” decor like that? Not a touch of carnival blue … but PERFECT.

Alice’s tablescapes are gorgeous and here’s something I really appreciate as a photographer – there are no tacky baskets with sugar packets – oh goodness how pedestrian salt and pepper shakers and other ugly condiments ruin a well concepted table! Of course your guests will need seasonings but would it kill folks to put sugar in a pretty cup (its a wedding, we can live without Splenda for a day, right?) and use eye pleasing salt and pepper shakers rather than something from a diner or Target? Just say no to all that clutter that detracts attention from such beautiful silverware, details and flowers!
