About once a week, I pull out all of my back issues of domino and blueprint magazine, get settled on the sofa…and start my quest to find inspiration. Tuesdays have become somewhat of our “color palette” day, so when I saw this stunning floral arrangement in Domino, I thought it perfect inspiration for today’s post…
I have been in love with this particular page for a long time…and now envisioning it as a winter wedding palette, I fell in love all over again. Check back in an hour so, to see the full board that I am working on!
In the meantime, click here to read the oh-so-sad news on Blueprint Magazine…

Say it isn't so! I so look forward to both my Domino and Blueprint each month... When I was young I would flip through all of my mother's home magazines and dream of one day being on the cover- deep down I felt like these two magazines were my generation's equivalent to the many decor magazines of yesteryear. It is so terribly sad to see this one go- While I love my Martha Weddings and agree that it appeals to a simular demographic audience, Blueprints is there for those not getting married, or those already packing away that wedding dress...
tragic.
I know...it's heartbreaking. When blueprint first came out, I was so excited. It was the perfect blend of crafts and style. Where Domino remains my go-to for design...Blueprint picked up where they left off in terms of DIY projects and attainable style.
I am hoping that this trend, first with H & G closing and now Blueprint, is shortlived. I am really hoping that it's just a fluke and that all of my other beloved magazines are here to stay!
Why, why, why? I was just starting to grow more attached to blueprint over domino. I wonder what's next. That means farewell to bluelines as well. sniff.
Oh wow - this is so gorgeous! I can't wait to see the board you come up with.
Oh no! I love Blueprint! It's even topped my Christmas Wish List for this year. Darn them. I guess I'll have to request Domino instead. Thanks for the newsflash Abby.
