Although I struggled a bit with yesterday’s board, Danielle over Oh Happy Blog did a brilliant job at creating a purple inspired board for her client…
I think that this is more likely the direction that our bride wanted to go in. And I have to say, although purple really isn’t one of my favorite colors, I think this totally works. It’s elegant, with kind of an understated opulence. It’s not overdone or themed. Nice work, Danielle!

I'm loving this one too! Good job, Danielle! Thanks Abby!
ooo....that's a really lovely color palette!
this is gorgeous! it's absolutely perfect for a winter or fall wedding.
Although I would not consider myself a purple girl. I love this palette! It is subtle and elegant. I am re-thinking purple...
I know, right? I am not a purple girl either...but this seems really beautiful to me.
I think they are both beautiful, especially with the gold accents.

The dress at the top left- who makes that? Gorgeous.
I'm wondering who the designer is for the top, middle purple v-neck dress?
I think all three dresses are Vera Wang - definitely the middle and right ones are.
I really think what makes this palette look chic and rich is the subtle gold playing off of the purple...And it's really nice that it's not a heavy dramatic royal purple, but rather a pretty and delicate hue. I would love to see more of the soft gold introduced to the wedding party scene above. It's a lovely board.
Can anyone recommend where I can get a locket like the one in the picture???
