I have already received a few emails from readers about the gorgeous flowers in the Christine Taylor style board below. The lovely creations were done be Valley Flora out of Napa Valley California... I love how they utilize color without seeming over the top. It goes to show that if used simply, with one or two types of flowers, color can be both sophisticated and classy. I am loving the... I am trying out a new format for posting...2-3 smaller posts a day, rather than one long one. Today, we are going to start with a Q & A session. Later, we will some really gorgeous pictorial posts, so stay tuned! I would LOVE to hear your input on these questions and I am sure that our "brides in need" would as well... Question 1: I'm having our guests arrive at 1:00pm for a Victorian Garden party. We'll have our ceremony on the steps of a historic home. After the... [MORE]
Going along with our Fall color palette, I love these dresses by Monique Lhuillier and Jenny Yoo...in my opinion, two of the best designers currently out there... The lace on the bridal gown is flirty and romantic, while the darker though still muted tones of the bridesmaids dresses, ground the palette and create a more formal look. Pair these looks with the below flowers... [MORE]
I love these toned down, muted Fall colors... All photos and flowers by Seattle based event designer, Aria Floral. Although the rich Fall reds, oranges and pinks are always gorgeous, I think that these subtle hues are so soft and romantic and are a nice change from the typical colors we see this season. I see them paired with vintage champagne saucers, delicate crystal chandeliers, white linens accented with vintage lace... [MORE]

I wanted to take today to highlight a couple of the vendors that were also featured at Monday's Jenny Yoo event in New York. Today's post is a little bit late. I actually just got back from New York where I was representing Abby Jean at a Jenny Yoo bridal show. It was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to tell you guys all about it. But today, we are... [MORE]
I got the sweetest email a couple of weeks ago. One of our readers, and a fellow stationery designer, Margot, wanted to introduce me to her lovely invitation design firm, Atelier Isabey. A couple of her designs are inspired by our very own reader Inspiration boards, which I just HAD to share with you! This first invitation, a gorgeous chocolate and white palette with an Asian flair, was actually inspired by Nicole's Inspiration... [MORE]
