Jenny Yoo Event Highlights
I wanted to take today to highlight a couple of the vendors that were also featured at Monday’s Jenny Yoo event in New York. First and foremost, there was the co-host and event designer of the evening, James Abel of James Abel Events. James is an incredible event planner and florist out of NY, who in my opinion, just might be the next big thing…
Spend a few minutes today looking at his gorgeous site! The other vendor that I fell in love with was Michelle Doll of Michelle Doll Cakes. Her cakes are so simple, and yet scream high style. I love the shapes that she uses…nothing overly fussy so that you can really see the beauty in her detail. Michelle was featured on throw-down with Bobby Flay (she won) and more recently was in the Food Network Sweet Sixteen Cake Competition…

thanks for the link to the James Abel site - what a genious. I loved one picture in particular; back of a chair with an envelope attached. I was so entrigued by the envelope and what it was for that I emailed him!

Beautiful cakes. I remember that episode of Throwdown, though I must admit, I was rooting for Bobby Flay (the episode and his creation were so funny). :P
