Fall Wedding Color Palette
It's cool and rainy here in Boston...the first sign that Fall is here! Although I am a Texas girl at heart and love lazy days in the sun, there is just something so warm and cozy about the first month of Fall. When I saw this beautiful wedding, shot by Elizabeth Messina (who by the way, has the most incredible photographs on her site), it just made me so inspired for this wedding season...
How beautiful is this palette of reds? It's romantic, it's sophisticated and yet it's really inviting. I am going to do a little looking around and see if I can find the sources for some of the producs in these gorgeous shots. Check back a little later today!

I am not a fan of reds, but this is done so well. It is extremely beautiful and even the details make it even more breathtaking.
I love those clear vase containers... hmmm.
Might go well with my vintage-glam theme.
And the photography... wow!

It's rainy here in Philadelphia too. That cake and those dresses are perfect for a fall palette. So glad you posted something beautiful and warm today.

It just turned colder in Chicago too, and you read my mind. I love this time of year! With an early September wedding, I could go with summer or fall colors. This has me leaning towards fall...I love the red of the bridesmaids dresses.

Wow, I would hire her in a heartbeat if she could make me and all my bridesmaids look like models like that.

Loving the spoon hor'dourves - so cute! Would love to DIY that but you would guarantee they would all collapse down the guests' fronts!xx

I really love the spoons too! I think I have seen DIY instructions for them somewhere, but I can't remember where! Martha maybe??

Oh where oh where can I find those glass urns??? I've been searching everywhere for them and I can't find them!

I know! I searched all day for them yesterday and couldn't find them. My guess is that they found them thru an antique store or a flea market.
English Creek Gardens has some large apothecary jars...

FYI - those antique jars were from a wedding planned and designed by a planner in Los Angeles called Details Event Planning. Her website is www.detailseventplanning.com - she may be able to tell you where they came from. hope this helps!

Similar tall glass decanters are currently available. We have two of them in our store right now. They are not antique. The large ones are $270. You may be able to find them in your area. I am in Dallas.

Pottery Barn and Kirklands both have the apothecary vases ... I think Target may have them too - but I am not sure.... I love them with candy in them!http://www.potterybarn.com/products/p7441/index.cfm?pkey=caccvacvas
Kirklands has them too, much cheaper.
