Pink & Teal Color Palette
My adorable sister-in-law, Carrie, is getting married next August at the Cape in New England. She has had a tough time choosing her palette because she wants to find a balance between color and elegance…sometimes a difficult task! But, she has settled on a palette of a fuschia pink, dark teal and creamy white. I love the combo and wanted to share her board with you. Not so much an inspiration board, simply a color board that will help Carrie balance the three hues.

Wow...this is truly gorgeous...The colors are just breathtaking. I love the pure simplicity. I know it must be hard to come up with creative and beautiful things everyday but you really do it so well...you outdid yourself on this one...great to have your boards back.
I love this color combo. It is the perfect palette for August - bridging the gap between Summer and Fall. So classy!

I'm getting married on the Cape too next year, but in June. My venue has cream and black toile wallpaper, but I have no clue what my colors should be. Love her colors though, esp. the dark teal, so different!

I love the palette of July 12, 2007 fuschia pink, dark teal and creamy white. What is the name of the fuchsia flower in English? In my country this flower is bugambilia, it grows a lot, and i thik for save money used this flowers for my center pieces decoration, do you think they maybe get a cheap tacky wedding looks? Okay so im having the bridesmaids in the colour tealness (alfred angelo) with hot pink roses and white singapore orchids long stem..... and the groomsmen in a black suit with matching teal tie... should i have them wear one hot pink rose as a buttonhole? or should they wear the hankie in the same colour?.... hmmmmm this is hard! and the groom is wearing ivory tie and vest with white rose and singapore orchid he was easy!!

These are the same colours I am hoping to incorporate for my wedding in Jan 2011, but am finding it hard to picture how it will all go together. I would like my bridesmaids to be dressed in fuschia dresses and have the invites done in teal and cream, but would love assistance from anyone who used these colours for their weddings and could show me photos of how it all came together.

Pink has been used quite widely for weddings in the past few years. Going for something different like the teal is lovely or combining the teal with accents of pink.
