If you are close to a store, I would definitely recommend making a trip there rather than buying online. The fabrics are really beautiful and its fun to mix and match things. There is an 1154 Lill Studio in Chicago (1154 Lill was their original address in Chicago), also in Kansas City and Boston. I went to a bridesmaid’s party at the Kansas City store and we made purses to match the dress. We brought in champagne and snacks and had a blast.

I bought my bridesmaid a couple of inexpensive black and white prints of horses because she loves them. Try going to your local Hobby Lobby or other crafts store and buying something they will REALLY use.

These bags are great! I got one as a Christmas present from FI, and I loved picking out all the fabrics and details. I was thinking about doing this for my girls, and bringing them in store to pick out their own… if you host a handbag party you get a discount if you buy at least 5 bags!
