You looked amazingly beautiful on your wedding day. However, I think that many, if not most, of Vera's gowns these days look like crumpled bedsheets. And not in a good way. Even her models have giant bedheads in the ads. That's when you can see them through the arty haze. I understand that some amazing workmanship goes into them, but I have no desire to look like an unmade bed, however fabulous the linens, on my wedding day. Does she sell many of those dresses? Or are those just the ones for the ads and the catwalk, and then brides continue to buy the sorts of Vera dresses they always have. Problem with that is, more and more brides will only have seen the crumpled bedsheets, and her sales will fall. Or maybe she'll find a new vision. I love your gown! So I basically had a personal stylist with me to "fix" the hair and make sure it stayed perfect. She somehow managed to put it all up, knowing that we would be taking it down later, so there was no frizz or hairspray issues. I think that if you are going to do this, make sure that you have a hairdresser that knows what she is doing. I also think that you have to go with what your hair will do the best. I have naturally curly hair, so it held the wave really well. If you have short, or thin-ish hair...you might want to stick with one look, as you might need more hairspray than usual.
